45-Year-Old Man Flirts with Teen on Bus by Masturbating

The 17-year-old John Ehret High School student told investigators she rode the same public bus from Terrytown to school in Marrero each morning. She had spotted [Leroy] Dillon [45] — also a regular — staring at her on several different occasions, an arrest report said.

The girl told Sheriff’s Office investigators the behavior creeped her out, the report said.

On Jan. 21, Dillon tried to make his move and spark up a conversation with the girl. But instead of sticking to current events, the girl said he pulled out his penis and started to masturbate while staring at her, the arrest report said.

The girl told investigators she refused to look at Dillon until he exited the bus at his usual stop, Barataria Boulevard and the Lafitte Larose Highway in Marrero, according to an incident report. She told her mother about the encounter when she got home from school.

The girl’s mother called the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives spoke with a representative from Jefferson Transit who helped them obtain surveillance video footage from the bus which they used to identify Dillon as the suspect, the report said.

Authorities arrested him the next day on the bus at Stumpf Boulevard and West Bank Expressway in Gretna, Fortunato said. During questioning, Dillon admitted taking out his genitals and shaking them at the victim, an arrest report said.

Dillon told detectives he thought that would get the girl to like him, the report said.

“After doing so, he walked back across the street to his residence,” the spokesman said.

Deputies arrived and found her lying on the front lawn, Fortunato said. She lived in the area, he said.

Told that the suspect walked back into the house across the street, three deputies then went to the home and knocked on the door. The man answered holding a knife. Deputies “repeatedly,” told him to drop the knife, Fortunato said. But the man then lunged at the officers, he said.

“They fired multiple times, striking him,” Fortunato said.

Parents Gone Bad: Father Rapes Daughters, Mother Tells Them To “say ‘No'” Next Time

The abuse came to light Tuesday (Nov. 12) when the 11-year-old girl told a school counselor that she had been raped, Fortunato said.

The girl said her father repeatedly forced her to perform oral sex on him and had done so since she was 6. The girl said her father similarly assaulted her older sister, Fortunato said.

School officials immediately contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and officers moved to interview the girls’ parents. The father confessed to the rapes, Fortunato said.

The mother told detectives she learned a year earlier that her husband was assaulting their daughters, an arrest report said. She also knew the rapes had occurred for several years, but made no effort to contact authorities, Fortunato said. Instead, she told her daughters that if their father asked again for oral sex, they should say “No,” the arrest report said.

The girls’ father was booked Tuesday at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center with two counts of aggravated rape. Their mother was booked with two counts of being an accessory after the fact to rape and two counts of cruelty to a juvenile, the report said.

Young Father Tries to Kill Newborn Son with Rum

The victim was born with Down syndrome and several holes in his heart, according to the report. The child was at the hospital because of breathing difficulties and had been admitted Oct. 16.

Fortunato said doctors discovered the child’s blood-alcohol content of 0.289 after he had a seizure Sunday.

A level of 0.08 percent is considered presumptive evidence of drunken driving. For those younger than 21, a reading of 0.02 percent is presumptive evidence of drunken driving.

The amount found in the baby’s blood suggests that 28 percent of his blood had been replaced by alcohol.
