45-Year-Old Man Flirts with Teen on Bus by Masturbating

The 17-year-old John Ehret High School student told investigators she rode the same public bus from Terrytown to school in Marrero each morning. She had spotted [Leroy] Dillon [45] — also a regular — staring at her on several different occasions, an arrest report said.

The girl told Sheriff’s Office investigators the behavior creeped her out, the report said.

On Jan. 21, Dillon tried to make his move and spark up a conversation with the girl. But instead of sticking to current events, the girl said he pulled out his penis and started to masturbate while staring at her, the arrest report said.

The girl told investigators she refused to look at Dillon until he exited the bus at his usual stop, Barataria Boulevard and the Lafitte Larose Highway in Marrero, according to an incident report. She told her mother about the encounter when she got home from school.

The girl’s mother called the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives spoke with a representative from Jefferson Transit who helped them obtain surveillance video footage from the bus which they used to identify Dillon as the suspect, the report said.

Authorities arrested him the next day on the bus at Stumpf Boulevard and West Bank Expressway in Gretna, Fortunato said. During questioning, Dillon admitted taking out his genitals and shaking them at the victim, an arrest report said.

Dillon told detectives he thought that would get the girl to like him, the report said.

LA Mother of 6 Throws Toddler out Moving Car to Get “Reaction” from Babydaddy

The Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 22, to investigate the incident. They were called to the ER when staff noticed a 20-month-old child suffered injuries that were reported as severe in nature.

On arriving, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office began interviewing the child’s mother and quickly became alarmed about the facts of the case.

The mother of the child, who has been identified as 23-year-old Lasasha Allen of Winnsboro, was brought to the Sheriff’s Office where further investigation revealed the true intent of the injuries.

…According to Sheriff’s investigators, Allen had made contact with the father of the child on Saturday, June 21, and had told the father that the child had fallen out of a car window while riding in the Monroe area and had been injured. The intent, according to [Franklin Parish] Sheriff [Kevin] Cobb, was to get a reaction from the father.

“The next day when she got no repsonse, she made the determination to make this come true,” he said.

Cobb stated that when that attempt failed, on the following day, Sunday, June 22, Allen staged an event in which she placed the 20-month old in the passenger seat, accompanied by another 7-year-old child who was placed in the back seat, and drove to a rural location with an extremely curved roadway.

According to the investigation, Allen then drove at a speed of up to 45 miles an hour, reached over and opened the door and intentionally causing the younger child to be shoved out.

According to the report, Allen stated that her intent was to inflict minor damage so that she would not be caught in a lie with the child’s father. She then waited for a period of time and took the injured child to the Medical Center.

…Cobb said that the injuries suffered by the child were very serious and the child was airlifted to a Shreveport medical facility for treatment. He stated that according to information received today from the medical facility the child is in stable condition pending surgery.

…In addition to the injured child, Cobb said she has five other children who have been placed in the custody of Child Services.

Man Stabs, Strangles Woman Because Her Fetus Not His

Emilio Calderon, 29, of Larose, confessed, said Col. John Forunato, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and will be booked on charges of second-degree murder and first-degree feticide. Calderon was being held for now in a Lafourche Parish, where he was arrested.

Katherine Martinez, 23, was killed early Sunday morning (June 8) in her apartment. Martinez was pregnant with a baby girl who did not survive her mother’s death.

But while there, he learned he was not the father of Martinez’s unborn child. The two began arguing, and Calderon grabbed a knife, stabbing her three times, according to authorities. Calderon also admitted to choking Martinez until she died, the sheriff’s office said.

“severe and disturbing”: Transgender Woman Kept as “Slave” in Natchitoches Parish, LA

According to investigators, the victim was held captive, tortured and forced to perform menial tasks and sexual acts. Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr. called it the most “severe and disturbing” case of human trafficking ever investigated in the parish.

The three suspects — David Rodriguez Jr., 37, and Christina Marie Harper, 39, both of Pleasant Hill, and Ambre Tubbs Lomas, 39, of Shreveport — turned themselves in Wednesday and remained in custody Thursday at the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.

NPSO received a report Saturday night from a Robeline assistant town marshal that he had come in contact with a female who had a logging chain wrapped around her near the intersection of Interstate 49 and Louisiana 6 West near Natchitoches.

After the chain was removed and the victim treated for numerous lacerations and bruises, she was placed in protective custody. She told investigators she had been able to free herself after being held captive, took one of the suspects’ vehicles and drove to Natchitoches.

As investigators built the case, they formed a grim picture of what allegedly happened.

The victim, an out-of-state resident, met Rodriguez and Harper online and agreed to voluntarily move into their home several months ago. While living with the couple, Rodriguez made the victim turn over all cash and relinquish ownership of a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle to him. Soon afterward, the victim was tattooed by Rodriguez and registered as a slave on a website.

The victim was given a list of daily chores to complete, which included serving meals, taking care of animals, leveling dirt, installing a swimming pool, digging trenches, removing fallen trees and performing sexual acts.

She was subject to mistreatment by Rodriguez, Harper, and a third person identified as Lomas, including beatings, carving initials into her body, being shocked with a Taser and having urine thrown on her. She was kept chained, sometimes outside, fed once a day and given limited water and urine to drink.

…Two children in the residence, ages 15 and 16, were removed by the State Office of Child Protective Services. [emphasis added]

Teen Shoots to Death Father, 2-Year-Old Half-Sister [UPDATE]

The 17-year-old son of a man who was found shot to death Monday at a home near Abita Springs is being held in the St. Tammany Parish jail on two counts of first-degree murder, and has not been granted bond, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain’s office said Tuesday. Jacob Middleton Jr., of 1601 Haring Road in Metairie, is accused of fatally shooting his father, Jacob Middleton Sr., 35, and his 2-year-old half-sister, Makayla Middleton.

The girl’s mother found the bodies in the elder Middleton’s home in the 72000 block of Carnation Street in the Abita Nursery subdivision on Monday about 10 a.m. The girl and her mother did not live at the home, said Capt. George Bonnett of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. The coroner’s report lists the 2-year-old’s address as New Orleans.

St. Tammany Parish coroner Dr. Pramod Menon said both victims died of a gunshot wound to the head.

…Jacob Middleton Jr. “indicated that his actions were the result of, among other things, his hatred of his father for what he claimed was years of abuse and family violence,” Strain said.

Update: Teenager indicted for murder in deaths of father, half-sister. The [New Orleans] Advocate, 3/21/2014.

Jacob Eli Middleton Jr. was indicted Thursday in 22nd Judicial District Court on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the January shooting deaths of his father and 2-year-old half-sister at their house near Abita Springs.

…He was booked with the slayings Jan. 7, the day after the bodies of Jacob Middleton Sr. and Makayla Christine Middleton were discovered by the girl’s mother, who called the Sheriff’s Office. The child was visiting her father at the time of the slayings, the Sheriff’s Office said at the time.

Both victims were shot in the head, according to the St. Tammany Coroner’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said the younger Middleton had confessed to the shootings, saying his actions resulted from his hatred of his father and what he claimed were years of abuse and family violence.

… The younger Middleton, whose nickname was “Sunshine,” praised marijuana and alcohol on his Facebook page and made crude references to women but seldom mentioned family members. But in November 2011, he posted an expletive-laden post about his parents, ending with the Lil Wayne lyric, “Let ’em die.”

He also mentioned stints in Operation Jumpstart, an alternative school in St. Tammany Parish for students who have been expelled, and the National Guard Youth Challenge Program, a residential military-school-type program for at-risk youth.

Man Stabs Girlfriend on Neighbor’s Lawn, Later Shot Dead by Police

A neighbor told detectives of seeing a woman run across the street from her boyfriend’s home, 1342 Pier Ave., screaming, “He’s trying to stab me, he’s trying to stab me,” [Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman John] Fortunato said.

The man caught up with the woman on the front lawn of a home directly across the asphalt street from the home he shared with his parents, officials said. “That’s where he began to stab her repeatedly,” Fortunato siad.

“After doing so, he walked back across the street to his residence,” the spokesman said.

Deputies arrived and found her lying on the front lawn, Fortunato said. She lived in the area, he said.

Told that the suspect walked back into the house across the street, three deputies then went to the home and knocked on the door. The man answered holding a knife. Deputies “repeatedly,” told him to drop the knife, Fortunato said. But the man then lunged at the officers, he said.

“They fired multiple times, striking him,” Fortunato said.
