Police Cadet Shoots Man at Ex’s House, Injures 2, Shot Dead

Cadet Michael William Little, 21, of Knoxville, was shot and killed after he allegedly gunned down Travis Donald Wegener, 28, of Anderson County, at the home of Little’s ex-girlfriend, police said.

Little also shot his ex-girlfriend and her mother, seriously injuring her mother, at their home, at 5206 Inskip Road, at approximately 11:28 p.m. Friday, police said.

When officers arrived on the scene they discovered four people had been shot. Wegener was pronounced dead at the scene. Little was pronounced dead upon arrival at University of Tennessee Medical Center, authorities said.

…According to the preliminary investigation, Little went to the Inskip Road residence to see his ex-girlfriend. The two had been separated for a couple of weeks. After arriving at the Womack home, Little spoke to the family and Wegener, a family friend, all gathered on the back patio of the residence.

After the conversation Little was walking down the driveway toward his vehicle when he pulled a .45 caliber handgun and shot Ashley’s mother and Wegener.

Little then went to the back of the home and shot Ashley Womack, police said. The teen’s brother, 22-year-old Joshua Womack, tried to protect his family by retrieving a .22 caliber rifle from inside the home. Little was shot more than once during an exchange of gunfire between the two.

Woman Confesses to WVLT-TV She Stabbed Her Mother to Eliminate Satanic Cult

A woman who lives at Sunchase Apartments and is close friends with the 61-year-old woman who was stabbed a few doors down early Tuesday morning didn’t want to be identified, but said the woman’s daughter – Katie Nichols – is to blame.

“She’s not emotionally stable and does the best she can, but needs quite a bit of help,” she said.

…”I almost kind of hope that she does come back through here so we can get the authorities to get her,” she said.

Not five minutes later, it happened – Nichols walked up to our camera.

“The satanic cult in this city has been casting satanic spells on me for three, four days. I’m exhausted. I came home and found out my mom was the ringleader and was trying to kill my daughter,” said Katie Nichols.

Nichols said she had to act because her mom was putting curses on them.

“I had to kill her -she was going to kill both of us. She was so powerful, I had no idea – I had no idea that my mother was that powerful,” said Nichols.

Deputies said Nichols’ mother was stabbed in the neck, chest and stomach – and was rushed to the hospital for surgery.

“When I left, she was still breathing. I stabbed her three times and she should have died. She was still breathing. I don’t know what happened to her afterwards or where they took her, but she was the antichrist – she did not die,” said Nichols.

Nichols said afterwards, she and her daughter hid out:

“We went in my car, we ended up in a little rural area and just waited for the sign that it was safe to come back,” said Nichols.

…”She had symbolic representations of my death, my daughter’s death, every nuclear explosion that was supposed to happen – that’s not going to now. Because all of the satanic cult has been rounded up and killed now,” said Nichols.
